Penryn Hills Ranch is noted for World and National champions since 1976! We stand both Quarter Horses and Appaloosa Stallions, we are proud to have raised and owned a Hall of Fame Stallion. "Goer" was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994.
Who we are
The all-time leading sire of Appaloosa foals, "GOER", with 703 on record to date and proudly owned throughout his show career by Joan Simmons Peachey. Goer was a 1973 Chestnut Stallion, sired by: Go Bay Go and the Dam was: Miss Bar Heels. GOER made an immeasurable impact on the Appaloosa breed, setting a standard for conformation that will remain for generations. To date, GOER's protégé have won 48 bronze and 2 silver medallions, as well as 46 Register of Merits. His get have earned 11,655 points in open, youth, and non-pro competition, with 6,974 of those points earned at halter.
