In the feature titled "Goer: Ahead of His Time," appearing on pages 52-58, it wasn't mentioned that Joan Simmons Peachey co-owned Goer with Tom Simmons from the initial purchase of the horse from Ron Kavanagh in 1973 until Dick Kennedy entered the partnership in 1976. Joan Simmons Peachey raised Goer, handled the breeding and care of Goer until her sale to Dick Kennedy. The sales contract then gave Joan interest for the next five years in Goer. Joan has all his trophies and win pictures through out his show career.
